HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER

MAGAZINE TERMS

PUR Perfect Bound

The inside pages are milled on the binding edge and then glued to the cover for a professional looking finish.

The cover is created separately and is printed on both sides, with or without lamination on the outside.

40 is the minimum number of inside page faces, and the page count must be an even number.

Staple Binding (Saddle Stitched)

A traditional method of binding magazines and brochures using two metal staples inserted into the spine.

The cover is created separately on preferred stock and printed both sides with or without lamination on the outside.

An option for a stapled binding is something called a “self cover”. This means the cover is the same paper weight and stock as the text pages.

16 is the minimum number of inside page faces, and pages are added in multiples of 4.
