Yes. You can change any selection that you have made during the album creation process. To change a background, select the required page and click on 'Backgrounds' in the toolbox. Then drag the background you wish to use to the working space. If you want to use the selected background for all the pages in the album, right click on the background and select 'Copy background’, then right click again and select 'Paste background on all pages'.
